Would you have your scan painted onto your tummy?

Hi Folks,

Been working hard all moring painting some twins scans onto their mum's bumps. Have been doing this as a project for the last several months and have done lots of bumps now. Lots of people have said how coo lit is and I was thinking maybe of setting up in business to do "pre-natal portraits" if you like.

Do you think people will go for it? I have been thinking of setting up a website for it. I already have one I did myself for my bodypainting portfolio so thats no trouble or expense.

Question is do you think people would go for it? And if so how much would you pay? I was thinking of providing the painting (which takes about 2 hours) and then offering a framed print of thier favourite photo as well as a CD of all of the images so they can reproduce others if they like.

The lady I painted this morning has twins so I painted both babies from her scan pictures together. We took photos of just her and then of her with her little boy kissing her tummy. It was lovely. You can see a picture of the painting here (I have cropped her face off for privacy.) Scan Painting

Would you do it?

I definately would, I think it's a fantastic idea and it looks superb.

not on actual skin then?
Thought it would be a shame to wash it off

yeah i'd be upset when it had to come off! lol

i would have loved a t-shirt with it on though! maybe you could do that with fabric paint and sell them!

that would be great maternity wear.
'look who's in here!'

Maybe I could take a close up photo and offer a t-shirt printing option as well so you can have your own maternity t-shirt too!

You've got me thinking now!

So if you had this done or bought a voucher as a gift for a pregnant freind how much would you expect to pay?
