Heard of any good bonfires for Saturday? Want a change from the one we usually go to (and it's not on on the actual 5th anyway). Any recommendations? We have visitors so want to show them a good time....

Don't they usually do a good one at Lewes?

It's a very well known one Deany, yes. But it's is a bun fight and not recommended for kids. I think they say no under 11s. I also hated it when I went years ago - really nasty atmosphere.

Does it have to be the 5th? Brighton Racecourse is doing a massive fireworks display set to music with live entertainment, funfair etc. Looks really good but I can't go unfortunately.

Have just heard an advert on the radio. Apparently there is a fireworks display at the Sussex County cricket ground on 5th November which might be worth checking out.
