Are rolled oats the same as porridge oats ??

Am doing oaty chocolate chip cookies, but it says rolled oats.

I have porridge oats, can I use those ??

Yeah, they're the same. They come in different "sizes" of flake, IYSWIM, but it doesn't make much difference.
