getting rid of the smell of sick in your car...how?

how do you get rid of the smell of sick in your car?help..
have washed it all...and sprayed on some febreeze..but not working very well..

It's gross isn't it? Try sodium bicarb....pour a whole box over the area and then vacuum up about 24hrs later. The windows open helps too!

is that baking soda? can i just get it at the supermarket? and do i pour the contents out straight or do i mix it with water?

Yes same thing - just pour it on in powder form - it works like shake n vac - only it just absorbs horrid sicky smell rather than substituting horrid sickly sweet smell.

I may be tempted to try one of those Ambi Pur things you put on your air system as well.

febreeze worked for us - but took 2 or 3 goes at it, and leaving the windows open for hours at a time.

If there is a valeting company near you they have a machine that they put in the car for an hour or so and it purifies the air..you would pay around a fiver for it, but it really works. my mum has hers done regularly to remove dog smells...
