LOL Socci, you sound like me, i'm forever telling people that I now keep my legs firmly shut during march and april. My kids birthdays are 11/11, 06/12, and 12/12.

What about dressing up stuff ??

Slight hijack - has anyone seen the Leapad product called Leapster L-Max? Any good? Outlandishly expensive? Completely misleading to bill a game as a fun learning tool?

Frizbe · 22/10/2005 20:51

Groovey Girls or Lilly Dolls by Manhattan Toy!
Loads of Art materials, especially glitter pens/glitter stuff
Feather Boas

Thanks Aimsmum. Seems as if alot of the "big ticket" Christmas items are young kids' versions of playstation, or perhaps vaguely educational gameboy knockoffs. Many seem to use screens or link somehow through the telly. In addition to the Leapster one, I saw a Fisher Price thingy being advertised on X-Factor commercial break tonight.

Haven't seen any of these in person, and don't know if they're good gift ideas or not for dd's the age of ours. Let me know if you form an opinion.
