God I remember nearly all of those things! Thankfully though my mum refused to get me a shell suit no matter how much I begged!

I dyed my hair plum with that wella stuff... lovely!

I had a perm too and also used sun in with horrible results.

Actually i don't think there is a colour that i didn't dye my hair at some point.

I remember all of those! All of them!

I remember hating my thick, naturally curly hair because it didn't look 'stringy' enough to be a spiral perm.

And enormous shirts with tiny jumpers wedged over the top....

Yes this sums up my teenage years. I did the bottle top thing, had teh shell suit, no perm but a massive back combed fringe with loads of hairspray. Insette was popular I recall
