if i couldn't make it change at all

Trickorflum · 19/10/2005 23:27

erm, Jack it in. THen say the voices in my head made me do it.

spookylucy · 19/10/2005 23:36

Heehee, trick! it's driving me up the wall. Its a long story but basically I teach in a private school and the owners make it impossible for me to do my job. I also feel terribley guilty that i have very little involvement with dds school day. My dilemma is, that for where I live its a really good job and I wouldnt be likely to get another one. So if i jack it in and become a sahm again, which I loved by the way, dd will be out at school all day. i think I should listen to the voices.

I listened to my voices to my voices and jacked in my job. YES, YES, YES - I am so much happier and found a job in the unlikeliest places when I wasn't really looking.

GO FOR IT

startingtobehalloweenylover · 19/10/2005 23:39

can you afford to give it up?

katymac · 19/10/2005 23:40

Look for another job....for 3 months then jack it in

spookylucy · 19/10/2005 23:49

I can just about afford to jack it in. Here in Spain jobs are hard to come by but this is just making me so miserable. I have that Sunday night feeling every day.

I hated my job and jacked it in to become a SAHM and my kids are all in school. My job was actually a creative one but wrong company and bad boss. If you can afford to jack it in why make yourself miserable which is what I was doing. Somethign else wilcome along. Life is too short

expatinscotland · 20/10/2005 10:46

Find another one and then jack it in. But then again, I've never been in a position where I could afford to be jobless for any amount of time. If you are, go for it!

spookylucy · 20/10/2005 13:23

Thanks, i know you are right. I have just got to do it. i called in sick today as I just couldnt face it. It cant go on.
