I was not drunk. I cam eon MN for half an hour or so to find this bizarre thread

Not sinister, GG - they had their reasons for being incognito and for various reasons can't use msn. I don't know who they are btw but I know why they were using those names - they needed to be recognisable to each other, it was sort of a code.

But really not sinister - and was necessarily covert.

i can vouch for marthamoo's desciption of the thread also,it was 2 usual members who needed supporting but were unable to do it on an original thread they feature on,the giraffe was a common facter to both of them to recognise each other.There is indeed huge reason for there identities to be protected and reasons behind not using msn.
All very harmless and the thread done the job it was meant to do for the main person concerned,so nothing dodgy and sinister at all!!
hope thuis goes some way to alleviating fears or concerns!
