...ds2 (2.8) shoved two raisins right up his nose and I've just spent the last hour in the minor injuries unit waiting for the doctor. One has fallen out and the other has disappeared: either it's stuck right up the top or it's gone all the way round and he's swallowed it. We'll know if it's stuck because he'll develop a stream of bright green snot from one nostril in the next couple of days. So that's something to look forward to!

Ponygirl - I did this with tictacs at that age. I had a lovely minty taste in my mouth for a few days afterwards as it dissolved! LOVELY!

Blimey, makes me feel daft for still sweating over my experience this AM.

Was in garden when DD (2) decided to slam the door. Because we use the back door as our main entrance it has a yale lock on it, so once she slammed it I was locked out & she was locked in!

No neighbours were home & family not near by & I started to panic.

Luckily there is a row of shops at the front of our house so I ran into one to ask them to all fire brigade & the guy came over to see what he could do. He left & came back with a ladder & his smaller assistant & the young lad climbed thru the window & let me in. It lasted 15 minutes, but felt like a life time. DD just sat on the floor playing!

I can't think why I felt compeled to open the upstairs windows as it is freezing here today, but I am so glad I did!

Hope your ds is feeling better!

Thanks mm, but your morning sounds much more stressful than mine!

Ds2 is fine, but a friend popped in for a cuppa and just managed to stop him sticking a coloured peg up his nose! He's clearly going to have to be watched like a hawk for a while. He's a little scamp. (Cute though!)

OMG! Sounds like a scamp to!

He obviously likes trips to hospital & scareing his mummy!

I keep a good eye on that one.

I have now hidden a key in the garden & am going to give one to our neighbour. DH has been on at me for ages top get it done, but I never seem to remember. What a thing to have to happen before I remember.

Funny things was that they guys who helped work in a key cutting shop! They got a nice box of chocs for their help & I will never forget it!
