We are considering moving to Milton Keynes or the areas around it next year, can anyone tell me what areas to avoid, which are the best schools or help with any other info? I am looking at upmystreet and mkweb but any other advice or resources would be helpful. Thank you.

can't really advise on schools from experience as I moved away from MK before my 2 went to school.

Nice areas are Loughton, Willen, Downhead Park, Caldecotte, Woughton on the Green, Monkston plus many more.

Places to avoid are Oldbrook, Netherfield, Stantonbury, Conninborrow, Bletchley plus a few more. Best thing to do is shout out a few places and I will do my best to advise. I was told before I bought there that if you look on a map and see the areas, the areas with the straight boring streets are the ones to avoid, the curvy, culdesac ones are better.

I love MK, moved away 4 years ago and wish I hadn't, can't afford to move back.

Newport Pagnell is nice too with a good high school - Ousedale
