Say something magical to your kids today.

Whilst watching a film the other night the little boy came home and his mum said Did you conquer all today? And it got me thinking what I say to my kids when they come home..How was school/your test/ did you do gym? It would be so nice to say something really magical but I am rarely inspired when three little people all jump down my throat at once so come on lets have some nice phrases.
Here's mine... I just can't thinkof one see I am just not inspired enough.

What was your favourite thing you did today?

Did you have good fun today?

Lots of tickles until they tell me whatever they want to tell!

Just be silly kids love you to be silly. I know i am sleep deprived etc..... uninspired too but sometimes they come out with some comment that is so grown up or you hear yourself talking just so funny.

My DS scored his first goal at footie club today and moved up a level at reading

My DD moved up a level at reading and got a story up on a display.

They were so pleased with themselves and I am so proud of them!

So we had to have a family rendition of 'we are the champions' - PMSL

When I ask my DS what he did at school (reception) and he wont answer I make him laugh by asking the following questions,

Did you dance with a giraffe?

did you kicjk an elephant?

did you tickle a monkey?

did you swim with a crocodile?

etc etc

Always makes him giggle

DS has a photo board in his class - if they are good their photo goes in the sunshine, if they are naughty it goes on the cloud.

I always ask him was he in the sunshine today.
