How do you clean leather baby shoes?

You know, the soft shoes with elastic around the ankles. My dd's look as though she's been yomping through the fields in them.

With a damp cloth? Or a duster?

Not much help, as mine both ended up in the bin as they wre ragged.

They are well past the damp cloth stage littlerach I'm actually baffled as how they got this dirty. They are quite new!

Washing machine, cool wash? Or is that a very, very bad idea?

My Ds Clarkes shoes are machine washable (low temp)and they're leather/suede if thats any help

Got nothing to lose by washing I suppose. Do they come out all hard and crispy though?

try a baby wipe, if they are smooth leather not suede- recommended by a shoe shop lady!
