I was thinking of Tesco or Asda but I need to make a special journey to find one that sells clothes. I don't want to trundle over there if they haven't got anything.

I've been looking on ebay and they are going for stupid amounts!

Poundland!

Blandmum · 12/10/2005 18:33

Sainsburies are doing them from £8 to £12

Blandmum · 12/10/2005 18:34

But yes as the dragon sez, pound land!

SoupDragon · 12/10/2005 18:34

Sainsburys had some. I got a batman style cape (with bats printed on it) and mask for £5 and I think they had others comprising of the same thing (cape nd mask).

Must just add that I spotted in our Tescos an outfit described as "Adult Sexy Bat" - I immediately thought of MN & Soupy !!

FrenchSorciere · 12/10/2005 18:40

that's really sad whizz

although last week-end at Lacok Abbey, I spotted a toy bat in the shop and started smiling, when I realised dh was staring at me wondering why I was smiling at a toy bat.....

Whizzz · 12/10/2005 19:01

I only 'thought' you smiled at a toy bat

bundle · 12/10/2005 19:01

hornbag · 12/10/2005 20:36

Tescos have glow in the dark vampire teeth for 9p ( yes, thats right 9p !!), witches fingers for not much more and various cheap bits you could add to bought or home-made costumes. They also had costumes but didn't notice the prices.

CreepyJess · 12/10/2005 20:37

Ebay! Got some great ones last year.. but you will need to hurry

hatstand · 12/10/2005 20:38

what ever happened to home made fancy dress?

monstersmummy · 12/10/2005 20:39

can u not do a store search on tesco or asda that will tell u which stores stock clothing?

Blu · 12/10/2005 20:39

Tesco have impressive 'skeleton' outfits - black catsuits with white aplique bones - for £8, in sixes from 3 to adult.
Mothercare have dracula capes (with red collar and red bats on black) and spidery capes for £6

Blu · 12/10/2005 20:43

Indeed, Hatstand!
My mum sewed white old-pillowcase bones onto a black polo-neck and jeans for me.

Demise of needlework in schools, demise of 50's housewife, disgrace of homemaker extraordinaire Martha Stewart robbing us of our role models, rapacious MN addiction....all resulting in an outbreak of polyester from nearest superstore!

hatstand · 12/10/2005 21:38

ouch

hatstand · 12/10/2005 21:38
Grin
Hulababy · 12/10/2005 21:47

ASda and Woolworths are best bets round here. Most outfits are £10 at Woolworths, and are onbuy one get one half price.

PeachyClairPumpkinPie · 12/10/2005 22:00

Got a spider one for ds (would fir up to 5 years perhaps?) for a fiver in Asda. They ahd several others as well.
