any thoughts...we want countryside and peace and quiet, but also opportunity for dp work (taxi driver)and or tourist based small holding

tavistock is lovely.

thought so, it is on our consoidering list..as long as it's not too touristy in the general area (probably the town itself is)

not really touristy at all tbh. I mean Dartmoor has plenty of people visiting but I wouldn't really call it a tourist area.
