We have caught one with a traditional rat trap - goodness knows how many more there might be - they keep me awake at night too

Has anyone any thoughts on how to get rid of them?

I have a cat! We have mice in our house because the elderly woman next door is eccentric (mad) she keeps piles of stuff. Anyway we have 2 cats and DH was worried about putting down poison. I wasn't. I put it under the fridge (where I found droppings) and so far, no mouse in the house.

However, recently he had to take up some floorboards in the back of upstairs and found a mouse nest (!).

So for me it has to be poison.

On that subject, my mum has mice in her house, and one night my 15 year old sister found one in her pet mouse's cage, sh@&&ing the pet mouse. It had slipped through the bars, apparently.

It will be interesting to see what the babies look like!

You get electronic things that deter them not sure how good they are. With poison you have to watch where they are nesting as they go back to the nest with food and die there, gets a bit smelly if under the floorboards.

If you get the poison out as soon as you hear them the chances are they have not nested in your house yet.
