I have previously been a member on MN only to be met by nasty unhelpful advice by other numerous members. So anyway months later I have decided to give MN another chance, instantly realising BAD IDEA ! Shock

These threads are such self fulfilling prophecies.

OP: I'm new but I've had a quick look round and you're all bitches
Rest of MN("Mums" - thanks Pixie) - Oh fuck off
OP: See. I told you, bitches......

Or does it work differently on Netmums elsewhere?

OP: I'm new but I've had a quick look round and you're all bitches
Long standing members: Christ, she's right. Look at us. We're utter cunts and must change our ways immediately.

usualsuspect · 24/01/2011 20:51

oh well op ...never mind

I would like to offer an explanation as to why I may sometimes come across as a little, um, acerbic. Can only speak for myself, not others.

I have a job where I have to deal with a lot of politics, in-fighting and half the time I feel as though I am not so much working as ego-massaging. It's exhausting but I hold my tongue.

Then, when I am at home on MN, I see a thread which I find annoying/pointless and most of the time, I just click away from it, ignore, each to his own, etc. but on occasion, when have had a really crap day, I can't help myself and find myself posting before I can help it. Having said that am never cruel or nasty or anything just a bit impatient.

Sorry. Must try harder.
