One DS. 11 months. Loud voice. Good lungs. Enjoys attention and sitting up with mummy in front of tele. Likes Calpol. Does not like being in cot and currently in hysteria. Will sell in return for the cost of a good night out.

I'll take him off you for £10

misdee · 06/10/2005 22:13

cni borrow him as peter feels like he is missing out by not having a son. maybe this will put him off the idea of another baby for quite a few years lol.

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 06/10/2005 22:15

Cool. Misdee, you can come and collect him to take to the hospital tomorrow. Then you can drop him off at QoQ and she can pay me via paypal which will go towards my night out tomorrow. Sorted. By then, perhaps, DP might have noticed that he's mysteriously dissapeared (well he is a PC so it's kind of his job to notice ) and you might find he comes and collects him. Get him to give you the tenner back.

Does that sound like a plan? How soon can you get here Misdee?

Still going strong. Has been like this all evening. Nothing wrong with him ASAIK, nappy rash sore but not that sore anymore. Has had ambesol and calpol. Has been, one way or another, sat up with me all night as I keep giving in. This time I'm trying to be strong, but he also has the quality of stubborness and determination.

My friend would have him off your hands quick as a flash. wait til he hears about this when he is older

misdee · 06/10/2005 22:27

poor lad. you anywhere near the welwyn-watford-harefield route?

gingernut · 06/10/2005 22:28

Nurofen?

Phenergan?

Earplugs? (for you).

Actually maybe Phenergan for you too.

PS I don't want him, have enough of my own, think ds2 might be walking soon .

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 06/10/2005 22:29

Invite her round Flum. She may well change her mind about the whole thing! Although, I layed with him and closed my eyes earlier, hoping he might do the same. CUe fingers in mouth, around nose, hair pulling, eyelid opening, and, then, the only thing to make me open my eys, big fat sloppy open mouthed kisses.

No Misdee.
GN, DS did 5 steps today. Been trying to work out, how many steps actually constitutes walking? Would we say he walked today for example? Or do we need a few more?

5 steps is 5 steps! (like a line is a line on a pg test IYSWIM).

Don't think ds2 will do it for at least 3-4 weeks yet, he's just managing to stand for a few seconds but he's been trying to stand for ages and is very determined so we'll see.

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 06/10/2005 22:38

Well I suppose when people ask if he is walking I can say he is beggining too couldn't I? Our post natal group just hasn't gone anywhere at all really has it? We must be one of the worst ones!!

Thank F for that. Asleep finally. Think someone might be needing rather a lot of sleep tomorrow.
