we're not customers of theirs......but they'd recieved two phones within 5 minutes. 1st phone call all they heard was heavy breathing - 2nd time the heard a piano being 'crashed' in the background......

guess that was DS1. He's got a 'thing' for numbers ATM, and even if we're out and about - he'll read the numbers off adverts he sees, the other day he ran of and "0800" number and said "that's the AA number" -

me - "mmmm yes lovely daling well done"

I guess he decided to give them a ring today

rofl- isn't he clever to remember the number- i couldn't

I know - he's only just turned 5 - but this obsession with numbers is driving me to distraction - a simple walk to the shops takes 5 times longer than it "should" do (even counting in the fact I have a 5yr old in tow) as we have to stop and read every house number, every car registration, every telephone number on the "for sale" boards (mind you he's quite clever with those he's says "double three" or "treble 5", and even " 0 eight hundred" rather than saying them seperately), and then we have to examine every single price tag too.......

My ds1 used to ring 999 - long before he knew the significance of the number, he just used to pick up the phone and press the 9 repeatedly. i once took the receiver from him and heard someone saying "Mrs X (my name) are you OK?" Obviously they had had time to trace the call to me! I was so embarrassed, I put the phone down without speaking Well, I thought they would tell me off if I explained.

We had the police turn up at my mum's house and knock on the door to check everything was OK as DS had been playing with the buttons and got 999.

The next time he did it at my house this time they called back and said they could charge us with wasting police time or something and to make sure the phone was out of DS's reach.

The officer cannot have had children as with DS nothing is out of reach. He got his own cereal off a 7 foot fridge-freezer when he was about 2.5!!!!
