Anyone done 4.5+ hours of driving lessons a week?

I thought about going on an intensive course but I don't think you gain the experience required to drive safely and confidently after the test.

So I was thinking about booking a 3 x 1.5 or 2 hour lessons each week. Has anyone else done this?

No - I think I'd have found more than an hour at a time a bit too tiring and stressful, but if you don't then why not try. Having several lessons in a week sounds like a good idea though.

I did this.
Started less
ons in july, took test (but failed!) in september, before passing in november.

I think it's a good idea- maybe 1.5 hours rather than 2 though, 2 is a bit exhausting.

It is easier to pick things up, imo, than having a whole week in between lessons. Smile

Sorry I disappeared, DD came back from school.

On average I took 2 a week (4 hours) sometimes I did 4 in a week, or sometimes, if I had no childcare, just squeezed 1 hour in while my mum babysat.

I'd have much prefered 1.5 hours, 2 made me a bit tearful sometimes Blush but 1 hr was over just as I was getting into it!

I took about 35 hours I think- though that was in an automatic. I'd done 30 at time of 1st test.
