i have found a valve, part of a diary and a spoon. ive tried to put hte valve on the pipe and turned it to stop the leak but it hasnmt stopped

skinny - it's a combination of how you turn the screws, when you get it right you hear a hiss

Yes, have all the other bits and pieces you can find - just randomly wandering around, clicking on plugs and pulling that bloody handle now.
