I havent tried this yet but I think i will now I have read the blurb! I have read your threads about baby cleaning products with interest Mears, and totally agree with how you don't feel it is all necessary. I think people in general use too many products. As a sexual health nurse I see a lot of bacterial infections in both men and women caused by over washing.... but thats a totally different thread!

Nbg · 29/09/2005 22:16

I'll look out for these next time I go shopping. I've always used Johnsons for dd and I'm very reluctant to move on to other products but these sound great.

NotQuiteCockney · 29/09/2005 22:20

We have their baby bath, Ocado stock it.

It smells nice, looks good. Doesn't make a lot of bubbles, but should it? I think I want bubbles because I'm putting a 4yo and a 1yo in a baby bath, and boy is that water gross at the end!

I really like the fact that the container says not to use products for the first month! For a product manufacturer to say that is really good.

mears · 30/09/2005 18:27

anyone else?

Will be on the lookout for this! DD has been using Napier's products, which are made locally, for a while now w/great success.

She's frightened of bubbles!

expatinscotland · 30/09/2005 18:48

Btw, how's the ankle, mears?

mears · 30/09/2005 19:02

Thanks for asking Expat. Physio thinks I had an avulsion fracture. I am getting ultrasound weekly and have exercises to do. GP referred me to orthos - so if physio does not work at least I am in the system. It is a long waiting list. I think physio is helping - got referred there by occuipational health. She said if physio didn't help after a few months then the next step would be ortho appointment and possible injecting of area - don't fancy that!

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 30/09/2005 19:12

Hopefully the physio does the trick. Ouch! The physios all love the patient who's enthusiastic about their exercises.

Here's hoping there's a cancellation at the ortho's soon - could be now the holiday season's coming up.

It doesn't say what they're made of? Are they mineral or plant based?

mears · 01/10/2005 04:12

They are plant based. If you click on the science box of the link waterfalls successfully put in you will see it there.

oh mears - you absolute star!!!!!!!!!!

I am literally on my last drop of groovy SLS-free wash for DS that I brought from Canada and I've been procrastinating all week about searching for an alternative! And it's available in Tesco's - fabby, fabby, fabby!

mears · 02/10/2005 15:55

You're welcome

Yes, we got some of the bodywash last week, and it's fantastic and really cheap too.

DS2 has quite dry skin, so I avoid most bath washes, but this has kept him scaley free! They love the smell too (we got the orange one).

highlander · 03/10/2005 12:49

I got the bath/body wash from Tesco - it was the only choice I was quite excited about the fruity ones

tissy · 03/10/2005 20:29

will look out for them.

these people do lovely evrything-free baby bath products too. They seem quite expensive, but last ages, as you have to use a very small amount at a time

yoyo · 03/10/2005 20:33

Tissy - I think that stuff is fantastic too. In fact it was the only thing I would use for DS when he got too smelly for water alone.
