ok so nearly a month ago i ordered a new changing bag from purpledudahs.co.uk
said it would be with me within 10 working days.

waited and waited and finally e-mailed them to ask when it would arrive... received a rather snotty e-mail back saying that they have to get them from somewhere and they can take a few weeks... but not actually telling me when it would be coming!

anyway, that was around 2 weeks ago and still haven't received it. I sent them another e-mail this evening asking when it would get here but now am wondering whether to cancel it

only problem is that i can't find the same one anywhere else in the same colour

I would send them a snotty email saying you have waited for a month and unless they give you an anticipated date of delivery you will cancel the order (though I'm not sure exactly where you stand on cancelling - isn't it 7 days for distance selling? How long is reasonable to wait?)

But then you will have to follow through - so if you really cannot live without this bag you may have to just wait...and wait...

yawn

SenoraPostrophe · 26/09/2005 20:41

(sorry - you do have the right to cancel, and I would do so just because they were rude)

i did say it was boring SP!

i am an impatient kinda girl and wanna sort it now but i suppose i should wait and see if they reply before i do anything

Tell them your baby will be out of nappies if they don't get a move on!

How weird. I've used Purple Dudahs lots of times. I've got a bit of a bag fetish and I've had nothing but friendly service from them. My orders always arrive within a couple of days. 3 of my friends have ordered from them too with no problems.

This thread is massively elderly (and frightfully dull, so very aptly titled ).
