Obviously by real mouse I mean a grey thing with a USB - not a small furry rodent

Have you re-booted your laptop?

katymac · 24/09/2005 23:45

By that do you mean turning off and then turning it on again (bit think I know)

Yeh, if anything dodgy happens on your laptop, try switiching it off then on again. Suprising how often that fixes things

katymac · 24/09/2005 23:49

Tried it and it hasn't worked....bugger does that mean it's bust

Is it a touch pad mouse or the wee rubber thing in the middle of the keyboard?

And what do you mean it's not working, has it completely disappeared? or just running amok.

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 00:10

Ahhh - just had a thought, do you have USB mouse still plugged in? If so take it out and re-boot. Going 2 bed now. Good luck

katymac · 25/09/2005 09:01

The pointer is there - but the pad doesn't move it I have to plug the usb one in- Sorry I ran away to bed last night

I'll re-boot in a minute with out the usb mouse

Thanks for you help
