If so can you tell me what employment it led to and how much success you have had in this field. Thankyou.

I have a Fine Art degree and did Photography as part of it, so not really what you're asking, but for what it's worth it led (eventually and by a circuitous route) to a career in television as a Graphic Designer. I did that for 20 years and am now an artist and freelance designer. What is it you want to do?

I am doing an art design and media foundation at the moment bettys. I'm not sure what it is i want to do as i enjoy all aspects of the course and was hoping to find the most employable route. I have just done a week of photography and feel like this is what i want to specialise in. I was just looking foe reassurance i presume that they are needed and can make a success of it.
I have a month to dedcide what field i will go into, i also have quite a passion for fine art and textiles so it is a difficult decision.

Um, yes tricky decision. Doesn't Beetroot do photography? and there are a couple of mn-ers who work in the arts (Enid? Philippat?) . I think with most arts professions it can take quite a while to get started/get a job as there's a lot of competition. It just takes persistance! Good to do something that you're passionate about though.
