MNers in Oxford? Urgent plea! (also posted on Meet-ups)

Are there any of you out there who might be able to help me??? I teach at a uni in Germany and am running an excursion to Oxford with a small group of students next month. However, I'm now finding myself having trouble finding accommodation for myself, dh and ds (4 mo) (excursion planned before I knew I was pg!). We would be coming from 9-16 Oct (Sun-Sun). Am a regular MNer and ds is a real delight!!! Would be so grateful if anyone could spare their spare room for the week! Please post on here or CAT me. Thank you!

Berolina - how about the Travellodge at Peartree £52 per room per night it's very reasonable for Oxford. It's about 3 miles from Oxford centre, but right by the Park&Ride, so no problem with loads of buses. It's also only 4m from Blenheim if you were planning a trip there.

OK that link doesn't work direct to the hotel. But if you put in Oxford and search you can find it and they do have availability.

Where are your students staying btw?

Alternatively the Randolph Hotel (4* and in the centre of the city) has rooms for only £153 per night, and that includes breakfast

The Randolph was a joke actually! It's probably not the smartest hotel in Oxford (it is actually cheaper than I expected), but it just has that sort of reputation.

You could try Lakeside Guesthouse which overlooks a park and is near the city centre.
