well i quite like them in a quaint sort of way. I don't expect people to remember or give a flying anything about my personal dates or anything. they are just something quirky to lighten the mood etc. I suppose they are bit more interesting than the etc etc.
As we don't have tickers on here I suppose the best thing to do if yu don't like them is not to go on sites that have them.

You mean you don't like seeing every post appended with things like:

"15 days till I get to use my mooncup"

"11 days since someone disapproved of me breastfeeding in public"

"1 year, 12 days since lochia last dripped from my nether regions"

I don't see the problem with them.
