Carla, I think that a new puppy would just be too much stress at the moment. An older dog might not be so bad, although it might still take an awful lot of settling in. Looking after a dog might give you something else to channel your energies onto, but to be honest I think the one thing that you really need to be looking after and concentrating on is you.

no, i have 3 adult dogs and just a few weeksa go got a new puppy. she is great. she is my dd's puppy.
