My cousin has just been round to show her medals....so proud

She swam in the disabled games held recently in Glasgow. She has Down Syndrome and she represented her region and won 4 medals - 6th, 5th and 2 x 4th places. I was so proud of her. She has decided she wants to be a professional athlete when she grows up - she's 27 bless her!!

thanks she was really proud. Her mum came with her and they had the photos - Clare on the podium, Clare waiting to dive, Clare's name on the scoreboard thingy. They were so chuffed and she was a real giddy kipper!

well done to her helsi,
my dd was 5 at the end of august and has told her swimming teacher that she IS going to the olympics in london 2012....that and the horse riding better not be at the same time as i'm going to ride too and get my hair plaited like the ponies and win..........................................BLESS her...btw she has cp and has only just started walking unaided...
that's some dream for a 4 year old isn't it!!
