Our local petrol station - OUT OF FUEL

It's madness. Everyone has gone mad here in Poole. Queues everywhere, people even blocking roads just to queue to turn into a petrol station. I had to get petrol this morning as my petrol light was on, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Fortunately the queue I was in moved quite quickly.

Bloody Britain!

I just drove past my local petrol station and it's like a ghost town. There's a big sign outside saying NO FUEL LEFT.

All the stations here are out of fuel too, I put £20 in yesterday because I was in the red light, luckily I have a diesel engine so it will last me about a week and half, but its madness.....

filled up yesterday and dh bought me 2 jerrycans yesterday

no petrol apart from one garage and queues are horrendous

I filled up in Manchester then drove back to the Lakes which takes about a quarter - I daren't go out in case I can't get anymore and end up with even less looking!

We have 1/4 of a tank left and could do with getting some more as I am now overdue and could go into labour any day however the queues are either horrific or they have run out of fuel. Daft thing is they are not blockading the fuel depots. It's been all over the radio this morning that they are not going to stop the tankers from going about their usual business just hold a demonstration outside. The panic buying is worse than 5 years ago round here we would not be too bothered but our current circumstances mean that we need to have at least 1/2 a tank of fuel so we are wondering wether to go join the queues or risk waiting till tonight!!!!

Hi oops, thanks again for the tea etc don't think it is working though as I am now 41 weeks. Booked in for an induction next wednesday but have been put on a reservation/standby list incase they get a cancellation as my back is killing me. Prolapsed disc whilst pregnant is no fun whatsoever.
