My friend kept saying how 4m/o ds loves posing/ getting attention so he should try modeling. She talked me into sending a few snaps of him off to agencies (Norrie Carr, Rascals, Childsplay, Elizasmith). I presumed it was a case of fill the forms in and never hear from them again, just a laugh over coffee on a boring afternoon.
They've all now invited him in for interview/ assessment and when I told my husband he thought it was great and we should take him, getting my dad onside too! I'm dubious though, I'm rather smug! quietly pleased that someone out there also thinks my ds is wonderfully gorgeous but is it all just a big rip off and a fantasy that jobs exist for babies? Is it hard work? For pushy mums? Do they just want your money then ignore you forever more?
Does anyone have any experience? They all have joining fees, I'd love it if I got that back and we had one job, say a catalogue, to show him when he's older. IS that realisitic or pie in the sky?
Thanks!
