Can you believe it?

I had to check the date as I was absolutely gobsmacked.

I've seen the card shops displaying for halloween already, I thought that was a bit early but to have Christmas puddings out already!

went shopping in Morrisons today and they have advent calenders out. I couldn't believe it!!

Saw them last week - next to the BBQ's !! Talk about hedging your bets. Then saw all the Halloween stuff yesterday

There were Christmas cards in M&S fgs

Yes I can believe it. They were setting up the Christmas biscuits etc in my Tesco yesterday.

Well we'll be buying all over overseas Christmas cards very soon - we'll have to get them off next month if we want to ensure they get to Zim in time for christmas (offical time is 2-3 weeks - but "reality" is much longer).

I'm also glad ot here "Christmas" foods stuffs (with best before after Christmas) have come on the shelves as it means we'll be able to slowly start stocking up - and not have to panick about where to find the money come December

I have to admit I do stock up early anyway and the mince pies are eaten well before Christmas, I think they should be an all year round pie.

So I take it you would buy stocking fillers from end of Sept onwards .

They put them out so early that by the time you actually want to buy them - they are all poked & squashed.
