Which Sainsburies in central Scotland has the best toy department?

Is there one in Braehead? What's it like? Or Livingston?

Heard a wee rumour about their annual half price toy sale and might head to a bigger store than our local one!

I have a feeling the one in Braehead's pretty big. We're in Stirling where it's a bit piddly and the half price sale is great so would like to make trip to a bigger store.

Don't know for sure but they have just done a massive refurb / extension of the one in Darnley off junction 4(?) of the M77. They have been doing loads of advertising about the new ranges etc.

The one at Braehead is huuuuuge. It's not where it used to be - it's in the retail park next door now, opposite Ikea.

Sale starts Wed 27th according to Martin Money Saver...the past 2 years all the toys are half price and they have a good range but shelves tend to clear fast! Believe you can do it online too. A good friend managed to get John Lewis Aberdeen to price match Sylvanian families stuff last year after it had all gone in Sainsbos but I wouldn't hold out for that!

If that's true then it means that once again the toy sale will be starting right in the middle of half term which makes it very difficult to shop for santa's presents if dc1(5yrs) is standing right there next to me while I try to pick up all the toys he wants!

If only it was a week later would be much easier
