What age did your children read to bike?

i mean without stabilizers?

Ds2 was 2. A month before his third birthday.

dd was 6

ds1 was 4, a couple of months before he turned 5.

dd is 5 in december and is currently riding with support on her shoulders and able to go for a short period by herself, another month or so and i reckon she will have cracked it! she wants a new bike for christmas so has the incentive!
DS was nearer 6 though!

4.5 (could have bee 4 but he was my PFB, and I was nervous. He took the stabilisers off with a spanner himself. )

5.1 DD likes to be dramatic about everything. And we live on a hill, so difficult to practice. In the end DS1 told her to stop being ridiculous and just get on with it.
