I have had a bid/buy it now withing 5 mins of ending it was for a sing and sign dvd and I had literally just listed and someone bought it.

I put some shoes up with a buy it now of £8 starting bid of £1, and nobody bought. within 5 minutes of relisting they went for the buy it now price!! Shows you can never tell.

I think early bids are getting rarer: people are becoming cannier and going for the long haul now.
