Oxford - areas to move to?

Vaguely considering, in one of our forever vague ways involving evenings spent on the net looking at house details, Oxford.

Any info on 'good' areas? We have two toddlers (and one on the way) so would need a 4 bedroom house preferably Victorian and within walking distance of the city.

DS will be starting school in Sept. 06 too so a good primary needs to be included.

We used to love Osney Mead when we were young and a couple but I think the houses there would be too small for the 5 of us.

Any Oxford mumsnetters?

We looked at moving to Oxford quite recently, but dh turned down the job for other reasons. There are lots of good primary schools, but the only good secondary is the Cherwell school, for which you need to live in certain streets in Summertown (Oxford LEA website has details). A good friend has just had to uproot her whole family from their lovely house in Botley to Summertown as their oldest child nears 2ndary age. So be warned.
