Breastfeeding
Organic food
Weaning after 6 months and not before
Cloth nappies
Co-sleeping
Having a mother who doesn't work
Two parents who live together
Not being on benefits

Can't think of any more.

Do you think that will work, stitch?

zippitippitoes · 02/09/2005 16:31

mum who knows how to have a good time

Gizmo · 02/09/2005 16:32

Surely you mean having two parents who are married, snafu.

(That should fetch'em out)

stitch · 02/09/2005 16:32

hope so, but nobody argumentative seems to be about.
so, what are your opinions on all of those. i think organic is a wast of money.

You forgot
Don't snip the willy
Do strap them into their carseats
Don't let them go out by themselves
"Routine" is God

snafu · 02/09/2005 16:32

Oh god yes Gizmo, thank you. My sloppy childrearing standards peeking through there...

Enid · 02/09/2005 16:33

being rich

and being able to afford proper holidays in school holidays

stitch · 02/09/2005 16:33

yep, that marriage certificate is far more important than love and respect between the said two parents.

OP posts:
tissy · 02/09/2005 16:33

Never giving them a dummy?

fqueenzebra · 02/09/2005 16:34

"Schools are cr*p and mummy's little darling is always an angel"

That's not My Opinion, you understand!

stitch · 02/09/2005 16:34

frannyf · 02/09/2005 16:58

How about happy parents? Married, single, unmarried, divorced, gay, teenage, or whatever, but HAPPY with themselves and their lives. I would think that could be the one biggest factor in a child's life.

Sorry if this was just meant to be a joke thread! I thought it was quite interesting.
