The background: I am recently engaged. Dp is a nomadic type and wants to get married abroad. I really like the idea but don't want to go too far because I want our friends and family to come too. I had a sailing holiday in Croatia a few years back and it was so beautiful I thought it would be a lovely place to have a wedding. Dp hasn't been there but is reasonably convinced by my evangelicising and is up for a trip to check it out, once we've saved up!
So I'm here because I don't have a clue where to start in planning a wedding, let alone a wedding abroad! I'm hoping to find a wedding planner I can trust over there to organise everything and hoping that it won't be as expensive to have a planner in Croatia as it would be here in the UK.
If anyone can give me any help or advice or even recommend a venue or a wedding planner that would be fantastic. I'm nervous about having a planner abroad so I'd really like to get a recommendation from someone who's used one!
