What age do you have to be to be sterilised ?

Thinking of having it done i already have two children and am sure i dont want anymore just wondreing is a a minimum age limit im 24.

My sister had hers done at that age, and really had to jump through hoops to convince the GP and the specialist to do it for her. You'll have to have counselling and they will try to change your mind - but if you really want it done, you will be able to have it done.

Why not get your dh/dp to have the snip instead? I think they are going to want to make sure that you are really really sure about it if you are under 30 (actually same goes for blokes too, but the snip is a much easier option). They may be more keen for you to have a coil or implant.
