So the day has finally come, we have made the decision to move out of London.... We have 2 DD (6 & 3) and another on the way... but have realised that they are growing up very quickly (stating the obvious I know!!) and if we are going to take advantage of county life then need to do it now - but where!!!!!!
DH needs to get into london Victoria so we have both agreed that sussex is the area for us - good train links and also close to the sea (which does sound very appealing). I am very fortunate to be able to stay at home with the children but I do love the bustle of living in london - so does a place exist where you can have it both - great country side and all that gives but also a vibrant town with potential for a great social life?? 
Have you done the moved? and if you did was it the best thing you ever did or actually if you could turn the clock back would you stay put?
Of course schools are a massive consideration, as DD 1 is starting year 2 this year but the upside for moving her to country will I think be huge....
