Hi everyone,
I'm moving to Bury St Edmunds but really don't know the area at all or anyone there. I'm looking for some advice about where the more popular areas are to live and where I should maybe try and avoid if possible. I'd look at close surrounding villages also. My number one priority is that the area is safe, (low crime etc) looking for 3-4 beds.
So far I haven't been able to go and visit the area but I've been trying to get a feel for it from a certain property website 
The area that has most of the style of houses we like is the Bartons development, so any extra info on this area would be greatly appreciated! My only concern so far is it looks quite close to the train line. Also seen one house in Ixworth that looks of interest. But I'm also looking for info on other areas too so if anyone can help!...
