and the attitude of "well if you're not with us your against us" are P*ssing me off.

The issue has been gone over and over again, with the same points being brought up over and over again. Those of us that say "Fine lets just leave it and move on" are being shot down in flames like we don't give a sh*t and quite frankly it's pathetic.

well compo to insinuate that the rest of us don't also feel passionate about how we feed babies - just because we dare to voice our opinion - is also very patronising and insulting

PMSL I have found the past few days very bizarre.

Not aimed at anyone in particular but you sure see a whole other side to people when you least expect it.

I wonder how many people have been frightened to post one way or the other for fear of being shot down in flames like so many have.

Thanks to all of those who've been supporting me in the last couple of weeks. I don't know what I'd do without a whole heap of you

Why do people feel they have been "shot down in flames" merely because someone who feels passionately about a subject dares to contradict them or try to point out where they think they are wrong? Just shoot back!! It's fun!

Roobie thats what has been making me laugh.

I post what I like as thats the way I am in RL btu do feel a bit sorry when one person asks a question but then 20 people shoot her down without actually answering the question.

Always makes me feel a bit ashamed of the people who respond as I am quite sure in real life they would at least answer a question put to them.

But Hey ho such is life the whole point of Mumsnet is that you get a varied bunch of opinions/advice.

I agree dizzy as i am one of those that the questions never got answered and was just about told to go away!!
