urgent, browser has been hijacked, google now in dutch!

my computer has been attacked by spyware again, ive run a spware scan and deleted all the spyware, i use lavasoft ad-aware and spybot, however it looks like my browser has been hijacked, i use mozilla firefox and my opening page and any google searches im doing are now in dutch, if i go on internet connections my web page is listed as something in nonsense language, i keep changing it and its reverting back, please help someone!

go to start
run
type in "msconfig" then enter
go to start up menu and see if anything there is obvious adware or it is in deutch
then look in add/remove programmes for anything that shouldnt be there

thanks custardo, its now sorted, ended up doing a system restore!

spoke to soon...back to dutch browser, have done 3 spyware scans each one picking up 200 odd lots of spyware, its now detecting 50 rougue diallers, i delete it all then run a new scan 5 mins later and it picks up a load more, did what you suggested custardo but it didnt work, nothing obvious is showing up, but if i go to internet connections, my browser is showing as being a load of goobledigook...someone please help..this is not the first time..im gonna chuck the damn thing in the bin[desperate]

Go to Bullguard Anti Virus Forum and post your problem - they ask you to perform a particular scan and post it.

I found by asking really really nicely for help I got it really quickly!!

i hadnt thought about that! im prob just restoring them, but my web browser is still opening in bloody dutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!11everytime i check, network connections its changed back, my puter now says its virus free though.

Have you had a chance to look at Bullguard yet? I can't tell you just how fab they were when I posted for help with removing a trojan horse

going to do it now, have cleaned up the computer, so no viruses, spyware now, but firefox(my web browser ) is still in dutch.

I get that too every now and then. Usually I just switch the whole computer off and reboot. Sometimes takes a couple of times. Oh, and delete all cookie, history etc out of explorer. It may have also happened when I used to use mozilla, but I can't remember. I don't think it's virus's/spywear tho, as my dh is a computer programmes and we have a router, so most of that stuff gets blocked. I must admit I thought it was a Google problem.

Ah - dh says this is to do with Google. Apparently it automatically predicts where your IP address is from, and for whatever reason it may think that today you are in the Netherlands. He says let Google know.
