i live in a lovely 3 bed bungalow, detached with drive and garage and an ok garden. (rented privately) in a pretty nice area, and only a 10 min walk from a good school. and 2 streets away from my mum. here is my prob:-
i love where i live as not only is it a nice area for my two LOs but it also walking distance to my mums which enables me to help her out who is disabled.
my DS is 3, and this is his 4th home, we were first in accomodation renting off DPs family whom we argued with and moved out. we were given a council flat in an awful area, so we then moved quite far away to a lovely quiet village but it was an hour and half to nearest family member and with me then expecting DD (16 weeks now) we felt it would be better to be near family as i suffered bad PND on DS and felt i would cope better with family being so close to me. we only lived there for 6 months.
we found a property as i said 2 streets away from my mum, and by a good school etc and we are really really settled; BUT we have no bath, its only a shower which after nearly a year of living here DS still isnt used to and screams and sobs from his heart when i shower him. DD is now growing out of her baby bath so im using a toy box to bath her and also very selfish of me id love to be able to unwind in a bath of my own.
i ve tried the [I LL USE MY MUMS BATH FOR THE KIDS] but it didnt work out.
i've asked the landlord how he feels about putting a bath in, and he has said that we can (if we pay for everything) so do i spent quite a lot of money having a bathroom fitted in a property thats not my own or do we move again and find a home with a bath?
i mean how stupid does this sound?
