One day visiting my sister when DS (now 3) was about 14mths we were chatting (as you do) in the kitchen and I put DS on the floor to crawl around for 1-2 mins (honest). Suddenly we noticed a quiteness and stillness decend, and we found DS sitting munching on something...looking around for what he could have been eating both our eyes alighted at the same time on the cat's food bowl...which had been 1/2 full less than 5 mins before ...still could have been worse, the litter tray was just outside in the utility room

...and apparently my BIL ate his own poo when he was little, I think this is much worse!

ROFL @ Custardo!

Ds came up to me the other day looking all worried. He held out his finger and said "Oh Mummy my finger is smelly!" I smelled it and smelled like poo. I asked what he had done (thinking he'd touched a dog poo) and he replied "I stuck my finger in my bottom!" It was the way he said it, like I was stupid.... like DUH Mum What d'you think I did!?

Ate cat sick last week

Puked all over me in the bath last week (or the week before). We were sharing a bath as he has decided no bath is complete without me and had swallowed some bath water and choked. This resulted in him regurgitating the entire contents of his stomach all in the bath and all over me. He was shocked and with the utter calm and "I can cope with anything" attitude which comes with motherhood I cuddled him (oblivious to the puke and stink on us both and said "never mind darling, mummy will clean it up and baths can be washed".

Not really gross but my DD went outside the other day and ran into the field behind our house in just her t-shirt and nothing on below (she's 15) only joking she's 5

She couldn't understand what was wrong with it, I had to explain the story about "bad misters" etc....

DD2, aged barely 3, asked to stroke my face when I went up and kissed her goodnight. Her fingers smelled foul and when I asked her what she had been doing, she giggled evilly and said "I stuck them up my bottom!" She has been known as Bottomfingers ever since...
