Is the recession stopping you from having another?

It is me. By the time the recession is over I will probably then be too old. Hobson's choice, but the way I'm looking at it, it's not about me or DP anymore, it's about maintaining stablity for DS, and having another would jeopardize everything financially speaking. We are both self employed and have a big morgage. Also the stress of being primary breadwinner nearly drove DP to madness the first time, so experience tells me, it would be the same again.

Yes, possibly. I hope not.

We need to move in order to have another. I'm really fearful about our ability to get a mortgage in this climate, or even to be able to sell/rent out our flat so we can afford to rent somewhere else.

It's an anxious time and part of me just wants to say to hell with it and throw the pills away. But, but, but...
