Oh boo, RS, bad luck.
Today's plan of having lunch at a friend's house (friend has 4yo and 2yo, doesn't drive so we always go there, but take at least half lunch) has fallen through as friend's 4yo not well. So DD and I have done the grocery shopping that didn't get done at the weekend cos we stayed overnight with my DB and SIL. DD is not keen on grocery shopping, so had to bribe her (the 'nice supermarket', aka Waitrose, and a dodgy-looking green cupcake).
This afternoon - get dinner in slow cooker, and either make a cheesecake or go for coffee with friends.
Tomorrow - attempt to teach her to ride bike without stabilisers (her 'challenge' from school); hospital appointment (me).
Thursday - DH off work, but we haven't figured out what we're doing yet!
Friday - going to work, bah, DD spending day with grandparents.
Yesterday I'd planned to take her shopping for new school trousers and tights, and go out for lunch, we did that then went straight to impromptu tea and play with her nursery best friend. Good job, with today falling through. She hasn't expressed any great desire to see any friends, I'm not concerned though, I know she has friends, I think she's just glad to have a week off from some of them!
