I just don't know what to do..

I'm 43. Have a beautiful DD just turned 3. A lovely home, hubby and I still work a few days a week in a job I love..but I've got this constant nagging that I should have another baby...I just don't know if we should and stay as just three! Also think I might be past it now...I don't know anyone who has had a baby at 44! Most have had their third at the age I had my daughter - 40!

Feeling anxious about making the right decision on this for my daughters sake. Help!

Women have always had babies in their 40's and even 50's, until you weren't fertile. It was only since contraception was available that it became more unusual. Also the statistics about risk shouldn't scare e.g. going from a risk of 0.001 to 0.01 for some things still doesn't mean 'high risk'. However, having done it in my mid-40's, I have to say it is exhausting.... and I wouldn't do it again as SEN/menopause/other and new health issues (no doubt related to age) aren't a good mix.
