Just moved to a new area of London/ 10 months and still do not know many mums yet even though have asked many times if anyone available for play dates, everyone busy or away.
I do not have any family apart from a sister who lives abroad who I do not have much contact with. Have a very difficult ex husband who sends me very aggressive stressful emails, w app or texts about not very much. I just do my best to ignore him.
I would love to meet up with a single parents who live near me around Clapham common as I don't feel I will be judged by them. I understand from experience that married mums in the past that they just do not want to spend time with me and my son and that's ok. I tried Gingerbread but I did not find it very helpful. I would be happy to meet up for a tea, my timetable is flexible. I would like to create a good network of nice people around me and my son and for him to have also have a good network of friends.
