I'm sad I didn't try for any more children

Just wanted to post this as feeling a bit sad tonight. I am blessed with a fantastic dc but I wish I had tried for more before I was too old and it was too late. Lots of good reasons for not doing so at the time seem very unimportant now

Hope this helps someone else who is on the fence before it is too late

If you are happily one and done that is a different matter but I think I was just scared and it never felt like the right time. Both of these things could have been overcome with a bit more courage I think!

It's a mindset thing..

Thanks for posting OP.
I am trying to decide whether we want a second in the future or not.
LO is almost 1 now so still early days for us.
Some days I think another would be great and then I just start thinking about having to repeat the last years sleepless nights again, the money it will cost, and the organisation and time it would require to get 2 children to daycare/school etc.
I am still on the fence as both my partner and I are only children and have no issues with having been only children. But I think I will be erring to the side of "If you are on the fence about something say yes, as you will only regret not trying". I suppose I am lucky as technically time is on my side but I still am scared of how a second child could affect us all.
