Hi need some advice please i have a 3 yr old girl who attends nursery no problem. However recently she has started saying she doesnt want to go out and wants to stay home since holidays started. Every suggestion i make is no or yes then suddenly no. Is this a faze? Tried organising play dates which when we chat about say the day before she is happy about and eager to go but on the day refuses. Help

You'll probably get more advice on a busier board, say Parenting or Behaviour. However, for what it's worth, I wonder if your DD is tired after nursery and justs wants to relax at home with you for a while. Maybe spend some time at home playing, watching DVDs, reading together. Get the paddling pool out, hang out in the garden. If you want to go somewhere, don't consult with her just announce that the two of you are going to the library or out for cake. Forget about organised playdates and see who she happens upon when you take her bike to the park. Maybe she needs a break from routine and will enjoy some spontaneity?
